“Rome has no equal as a city where you can connect with the past yet still stay fully present. The experience of painting and drawing in the city can define who you become as an artist…”
Carole Robb, Creative Director Rome Art Program
One of the oldest cities in Europe, Rome has been inspiration to artists since the classical era and is home to some of the most recognisable works of art and architecture in the western world. From the famed to the obscure on the Rome Art Program we try to bring our students experiences which they may never have had before.
Through our blog we will give you an insight into many of the beautiful locations our students will most likely visit during the course of the program and share what life is like in the city.
With paintings but Caravaggio, sculptures by Michelangelo, frescos by Raphael and fountains by Bernini; surely there is no better reason to be in Rome..?
